My Two-Week Journey: From Struggles to Streaming
The Beginning Two weeks ago, I embarked on a journey…
The Beginning
Two weeks ago, I embarked on a journey that has transformed my daily routine and, in many ways, my life. As someone living with ADHD, a brain injury, and other challenges, my creative output has been limited to daily tweets and spreading kindness on social media.
The Power of Kindness and Self-Forgiveness
Throughout my life, I have struggled with inner demons, mental health issues, and emotional scars. These challenges often surface in the early hours, serving as harsh reminders of past mistakes and missed opportunities. However, I have learned an invaluable lesson: the importance of self-compassion and forgiveness.
I have learned to be kind to myself, even when I make mistakes. I have learned to forgive myself for my past mistakes, and I have learned to let go of the things that I cannot change. I am still learning, but I am grateful for the lessons that I have learned.
We all make mistakes, but it is important to remember that we are human. Holding onto guilt and regret only makes our problems worse. If you are struggling with similar issues, remember that you are not alone. Reach out for help, and know that resources are available to support you.
Creative Work Hour: A Beacon of Hope
In the midst of my struggles, I found solace in a group called Creative Work Hour. Founded by my friend Alessandra, this daily meeting became a safe space for me and others to work on creative projects. We share our goals, meditate, and then work independently, reconvening to celebrate our accomplishments. This group has been a source of motivation and support for me, and I am grateful for the opportunity to be a part of it.
The Transformation: From Posting to Streaming
With the encouragement of my Creative Work Hour family, I embarked on a new endeavor: daily live streaming and article writing. This was a significant departure from my regular routine of posting messages of kindness and mental health awareness on social media. I am deeply grateful to Alessandra, Gretchen, Andy, Shadows Pub, Michael Devin, and the rest of my Creative Work Hour family for their unwavering support.
Reflecting on the Past Two Weeks
Today, I look back on the past two weeks with a sense of accomplishment. I’ve been able to delve into a topic close to my heart: ADHD. As someone who personally experiences ADHD, I understand how a moment of daydreaming can turn into a lengthy detour into the realm of thoughts. I am proud of what I have accomplished in the past two weeks.
However, these two weeks haven’t been without their challenges. My ADHD-induced hyperfocus often led me to work from 9:00 AM until 11:30 PM without breaks. Despite this, I’ve seen improvement, and I’m learning to balance my work and rest better. I am grateful for the opportunity to learn more about ADHD and share my experiences with others. I hope that it might help others who are struggling with ADHD.
Looking Forward
As I move forward, I’m excited about the prospect of creating more videos and articles.I am open to suggestions for future topics, so please leave a comment with your ideas.
I would also like to express my gratitude to everyone who has supported me on this journey, including my Creative Work Hour family and all of you reading this. Your views, comments, likes, and subscriptions are incredibly encouraging.
